GOODBYE :(

Hello for the last time, my dear reader, 💔

I am deeply sorry to tell you that this is my final post. 😔

In this very last post, we will revise the whole semester. Let's start with evaluating the course "Current Issues in Teaching". This course has many things to offer you in terms of technology usage. I have undoubtedly improved my technology skills as a teacher candidate. The tasks we were to complete for the course were useful for learning new tools and developing creativity, writing skills, and, of course, technology skills. However, the way we had to complete a task every week throughout the semester, I got overwhelmed from time to time, to be honest. My favorite task was creating a teaching video for the flipped classroom. First of all, I liked the "Flipped Classroom Approach",  and it was really fun to make a video using our voices and it didn't take too long to complete the task. My least favorite task was creating a corpus-based teaching material because I had a hard time understanding how to use corpus tools. For the students who will take this course next year, I suggest being creative as much as possible and being ready to work in groups. Lastly, taking this course helped me realize and fix my mistakes and weaknesses thanks to feedback on our tasks provided by our teacher Gökçe Kurt Tiftik 💟.
