DEAR READER,

 Hello, my dearest reader!

It is both nice and sad to see you here for the last time. πŸ˜”

This would be the last post in this blog, so we're here to revise the term and say our goodbyes.

First of all, I want to express that it was a pleasure to share my thoughts and experiences with you, and I hope I could help and entertain you!

Let's see what we have done throughout the term:

Before my Instructional Technologies and Material Design course, I didn't know many of the tools I used for the assignments. I am glad that I've learned different tools that could help me in my teaching practices in the future. Again, before the course, I was a little hesitant about using AI and technology in education and language learning such as tasks or projects. This course changed my thoughts on the integration of technology and education. I used to think that AI and technology were not trustworthy and that we could always produce better outcomes since we were superior. With the tasks assigned by the course, this notion of mine changed. Now I am more comfortable using technology and I have more extensive knowledge.

Throughout the term, we were assigned different tasks that we should use different functions of technology. These tasks were creating an infographic, podcasting, digital storytelling, collaborative writing, and AI tasks. I got the chance to develop different skills and learn various technological tips from each of them. These tasks made me realize the importance of technology in education, especially in ELT classes. Though I encountered some problems while doing the tasks, in the end, it provided good more than harm. I will surely use the skills and knowledge I gained from this course for my teaching practices.

I think of these tasks I have done, my favorite was podcasting. Podcasting was a lot of fun and it developed my interaction skills, as well as technological skills. Interviewing my peers and asking them a question that caught their attention was a great experience as an ELT student. On the other hand, my least favorite task was digital storytelling. Though it was fun to watch at the end, the process was very exhausting. Creating images, compiling them together, and adjusting these pictures while recording our voices were really a long haul.

This was all I wanted to say about the term. I want to know about your thoughts my dear reader. Feel free to leave a comment!

I will miss y'all, take good care of yourselves! πŸ’—πŸ’˜πŸ˜“

Toodles!!
